My name is Nicola and I’m ginger and shorter than average. I have to roll up my jeans and have a step ladder in my kitchen to reach the top shelves. These are hopefully somewhat entertaining posts. This section should also improve in its laughter levels as soon as I think of something wittier.
I live in Manchester and have a love of British comedy, travel, TV, theatre, music, reading and baking. I am attempting to bake a cake worthy of a Paul Hollywood handshake. I also try to play netball but often get penalised as I get too excited that I actually have the ball and screw up my footwork.
I studied Geography at The University of Manchester too (though spent my time doodling in lectures). I ended up getting a 2:1 but boy, oh, boy can I draw the back catalogue of the Looney Tunes cast. However, I do really want to see the world and travel; with my favourite place I’ve visited being Iceland. One day I’d love to venture further afield to Australia, Indonesia and New Zealand.
I also sneeze really loudly and I can only apologise in advance for this. It keeps my workmates on their toes though.
